Balanced Energy Source Transformer
Based in Austria, Best Board is launching its Balanced Energy Source Transformer into the market. Within Europe Best Board have worked closely with design teams, completing projects which have met some significant challenges in the reduction of CO2 output, increasing energy efficiency and improving the health of buildings.
The BestBoard Balanced Energy Source Transformer significantly reduces the energy use within buildings. Coupled to the energy transmitters, this enhances the quality of our built environment and gives savings up to 80% in energy use. This is ideal within the mix of sustainable energy solutions.
Test site1 a 1890's limestone/concrete made Townhouse. The current energy bill for heating is approximately €18000 per annum based on
a 12-15 year old non-condensing gas fired LTHW boilers. By installing Best Board heating emitters and 2 BEST machines, their
energy bill should be reduced to around € 3.600. This provides an annual running cost reduction of approximately 85%
Test Site 2, a 600m2 General Office over 2 floors: the current energy bill for heating & cooling is approximately € 15.000 per annum based
on 2 gas fired boilers and cooling-only refrigerant systems. By installing Best Board heating and cooling emitters and one
BEST machine the energy bill should be reduced to around € 3.000.
This provides an annual running cost reduction of approximately 80%. An annual reduction in carbon emissions by 9.4 metric
tonnes is expected.
